And it is precisely the memory of these that keeps us pursuing in the search of beautiful environments and our contribution to it. Contemporary architecture has not forgotten the nostalgia for beautiful surfaces. The new surfaces that we imagine today go back to those periods of grandeur, when parquetry was genius.
